Frequently Asked Questions

Parts Request

What is the best way to request a part?

There are actually two “best” ways to request a part. Please refer to our “Parts Request Page” located here for more information.

Can I stop by your store to request a part?

Yes, everyone is welcome to visit our store and shop around. However, for the sake of efficiency, we highly recommend the use of our “Parts Request Page” found here prior to arrival. We don’t want anyone to come in to our store only to find that the part they request is out of stock.

What if I am in need of a part, urgently?

Even for urgent requests, please utilize our “Parts Request Form” found here. As soon as we receive your request, an appropriate staff member responds to the request.

Can I request a part via telephone?

We kindly ask that you refrain from using the telephone to request a part for the following reasons. The inventory staff communicate via internal computer network as opposed to telephone. Therefore, calling in a parts request requires the person answering the phone to physically track down a staff member in the inventory department, who then will answer your parts request in the order in which it was received (which includes requests via email and web form). Unfortunately, this could potentially keep you on hold for up to thirty minutes.

Is there any way I can request a part by calling an inventory staff member directly?

Unfortunately, no. Staff members in the inventory department do not have direct telephone lines, instead they communicate via internal computer network, hence the reason why RV Yard prefers outside communication via email.

General Information

Can I pick up a part at your store as opposed to having it delivered?

Can I look around your salvage yard?

Can I strip a part off a salvaged RV in your yard, similar to how it is done in a automobile junk yard?

Unfortunately, no. Due to liability reasons, guests are not allowed to explore the salvage yard. However, everyone is welcome to visit our store and shop around.

I received the wrong order, what can I do?

If your order was filled incorrectly, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact us with your order details, and we will fix the mistake. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does we do all we can to make it right.

I cannot find any parts via the search function on your website, what can I do?

We apologize for the inconvienence, but our inventory system is not currently “linked” to our website. We are working on this. But in the interim, when looking for a part, please utilize our “Parts Request Page” found here.
